Fall 2022 High School Sailing - F6

  1. Fall ACCs:  Congratulations to Lincoln Academy (ME) and Sharon HS (MA) who finished second and third at the NESSA Fall Funfest for rthe Wally Gleekman Trophy this past weekend. They join St George's School (RI) [Arnold Brown Regatta] and Barrington HS (RI) [Casco Bay Open] as the four NESSA representative to the Fall ACCs.
  2. Tech Score: It is the responsibility of each school to maintain their Tech Score account and to post their RP info in a timely manner. Each weekend, there are several scores who are assigned team penalty points for Missing Race Participation (MRP) information.  That is an unfortunate unforced error.
    • If you are new to your school, you should find out who had access to your account last year and get the log in credentials.  If you need to set up an account, the directions are at the bottom of the Tech Score page. If you have questions, please ask.
    • It is the responsibility of each school to make sure that their sailors are listed in the ISSA/NESSA data base correctly and that they are entered properly on the Race Participation forms for each regatta. Failure to do so is +20 pt. penalty per division.
    • If you host an event that has non-Member organization competing, it is your responsibility to enter the RP information, since the non-member organizations do not have Tech Score accounts.
  3. Membership: To compete in any High School regatta, your school must be an active member. For this still "pending" or "inactive," a quick reminder on how you become "active."
    • Registration for the 2022-2023 season is now open
    • Dues remain the same for this year ($135/school)
    • Dues must be paid in full before a school can compete in a High School Regatta.
    • All dues must be paid by the Annual Meeting.  Failure to meet that deadline will affect your school's ability to participate in NESSA Championship regattas.
