REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS: I think this gracious note from a competitor sums it up.

Dear Mr. Segerblom:  On behalf of the Lakewood High School Sailing Team (St. Petersburg, FL), we would like to express our appreciation to you for the excellent sailing experience we all had during the Mallory Regatta.

The organization was fantastic.  Everything ran smoothly.  Sailing in new boats was unbelievable.  The food and snacks were tremendous.  But, of course, the Pacific Coast sailors were awesome and it was a tremendous opportunity to sail with them.  Despite the competition all the sailors were friendly and the sportsmanship on the water was great.

Thank you.
Rick Korab

Conditions: Early westerly breeze building each day. Maximum 17-18 knots on
Saturday and 15-16 on Sunday. Tempuratures in the 70's.

Incredible skill and sportsmanship was noted by virtually everyone involved. Since this is our present, AND OUR FUTURE I think this sport is in good hands!!

Respectfully Submitted,
Michael Segerblom
