Congratulations to Southern Regional High School for winning the 2014 Great Oaks Regatta


The 2014 High School Atlantic Coast Championship was won by the sailors from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL. They finished the first day of racing in second place, only 1 point out of first, but came on strong on Sunday to win the event by 22 points over second-place finisher The Severn School from Annapolis, MD. Third place was earned by the team from Minnetonka High School in Minnetonka, MN.


In the Laser-Full fleet Patrick Shanahan is your ISSA Cressy Full Rig National Champion. Patrick won the regatta by 18 points over Colin Brego in 2nd and Cooper Weitz in 3rd.


In the Laser-Radial fleet Nic Baird is your ISSA Cressy Radial National Champion. Nic won the regatta by 12 points over William Marshall in 2nd and Scott Rasmussen in 3rd.


Go to the "Current Season Results" link for results. The top 36 singlehanded high school sailors from around the country will descend upon the Pacific Northwest starting Friday, October 31 to compete in the 2015 Cressy High School Singlehanded Championship sponsored by LaserPerformance out of Bellingham Yacht Club in Bellingham, Washington.
