In the Laser-Full fleet Patrick Shanahan is your ISSA Cressy Full Rig National Champion. Patrick won the regatta by 18 points over Colin Brego in 2nd and Cooper Weitz in 3rd.

The top 36 singlehanded high school sailors from around the country will descend upon the Pacific Northwest starting Friday, October 31 to compete in the 2015 Cressy High School Singlehanded Championship sponsored by LaserPerformance out of Bellingham Yacht Club in Bellingham, Washington.

Welcome to the 2014 - 2015 ISSA year! Most of us have had a summer break from High School Sailing, but through the efforts of One Design Management, we have accomplished a number of administrative items over the summer.


The Charles River served up two days of light to moderate easterly winds for the 6th annual National Invitational Tournament for the Founders Trophy. 81 races were completed among 10 teams representing 4 ISSA districts. Congratulations to our winners from Lake Forest High School.


Congratulations to Point Loma High School for winning the 2014 Baker Team Race Championship in a closely fought battle with Annapolis High School. Congratulations to all 18 schools for a great event and especially to SEISA and Joanne Willits and her crew for organizing a special event.


High School Sailing (Interscholastic Sailing Association – ISSA) holds the final Championship of the sailing season with the Baker Team Race Championship, in Seabrook, TX sailed out of Lakewood Yacht Club this coming weekend, May 24-25. If the Mallory Championship was any indicator, the Baker will be equally as exciting.


The High School Doublehanded Championship brought together 20 schools from across the USA to compete in San Diego Bay on May 10-11. With the venue just off the B Street Pier, and team compounds perched on the edge over the course, it proved to be an epic venue for both sailors and spectators. The 11-race regatta, sailed in Club Flying Juniors, ended in dramatic fashion. It could not have been any closer.
