ISSA National Invitational Tournament

May 26-28, 2017

Boat: C420

for the Founders Trophy

The National Invitational Tournament Regatta started in 2009 as a way to promote team racing among school teams. Since NESSA had a strong back ground in team racing, they combined with the two districts on their boarders to create a event for those teams that just missed out on the Baker. The first NITs was in Rochester, NY. The winner of the NITs receives the Founders Trophy, a permanent trophy donated by the coaches from the three remaining founding schools of high school sailing - Tabor Academy, St. George's School, & The Hotchkiss School - to further the interest in intersectional team racing.
